Happy 50th Merdeka Day of Malaysia

I’m so happy today.. becaused It’s Merdeka day for Malaysia.. only one thing that I really not happy@geram was.. I missed the 50th Merdeka Celebration Parade in KK yesterday (WarggghhHh!!) The alarm doesnt do any good to my sleeping beauty sickness. What I did the night before was totally in order..Camera, Battery, Charger, Umbrella, Sunglases,Tapau air, my iBook and card reader.. but pity I woke up only at 11am..Warghhh!!! Cian me, tinguk tv jak la.

Merdeka day is a national day of Malaysia which fall on 31st Aug 1957 to commemorating the independence of the Federation of Malaya from the British colonial rule. Sabah was only Merdeka On 16 Sept 1963 join together with Sarawak and Singapore to formed the Federation of Malaysia with Malaya.

Jalur Gemilang – Stripes of Glory is the national flag of Malaysia has been developed since its first creation 67 years ago.. and did you know this flag considered as the third version of Malaysian flag since it was first call Federated MalayStates back from 1896 to 1950.

It represents the union of the four Malay states of Selangor, Perak, Negeri Sembilan and Pahang (Negeri Negeri Melayu Bersekutu) in a federation as a protectorate under the British Crown. Malayan Tiger (Harimau Malaya) was the symbol placed in the middle.

2nd version is Malaya, from 1950 -1963 (this when Sabah + Sarawak + Singapore join (Malaya to formed Malaysia) and this is the current flag of Malaysia (Semenajung + Sabah + Sarawak), Singapore was expelled in 1965 after heated ideological conflict between the both goverment. Malaysian flag was first designed by a 29 year old architect, Mohamed Hamzah from Johor. He actually won the Malayan flag design competition in 1947 which attracted 373 entries. Later the ‘Star’ on the flag been modified to 11 stars, which pointed one to represent all the Malayan states at that time.

and now this is the current national flag for Malaysia called Jalur Gemilang, it was named by Tun Dr. Mahathir (4th Prime Minister) in 1997 and from 11 stripes to become 14 stripes following an addition of two other federal territories, Labuan (1984) and Putrajaya (2001) after Kuala Lumpur was designated as a federal territory of Malaysia on 1st February 1972.

MBF Cards Promo

This evening when I got home was really half death back from the office, found my mailbox got so many surat hutang.. aiya hujung bulan, everthing need money la. I opened up this one envelope from MBF, they posted me one small booklet about their latest promotion on this coming ‘Hari Raya’..wa now already they start talking about raya ka, still early la woii.

I’ve go through and flip one page looking at the new Mac Book!! Wailauweh!! Now as a member + card holder of MBF Cards you can buy Mac Book with instalments + ZERO interest !!

RM174.50 a month you can get a 2.0GHz Mac Book already.. waa best! Last time I bought my iBook was around RM5699 here in KK the one and only Apple store you can find is MacBorneo, some more G4.. cian me! Now they having a stock clearance while stock last ( sempat iklan lagi ni!) But now already quite cheap la, to get more power you just need to add around RM60 to get the 2.16GHz Mac Book black (mafia version)..but only if you’re the MBF Cards member.

other Apple products which in MBF’s promo list was iPod, iPod Nano, iPod Shuffle.. ceh! Mac Book Pro jak ndak da!

But lastly I still sayang my iBook G4, he’s been very busy lately.. I just love Mac.

Skyline Spotted!! Again…

Again I’ve spotted Skyline here around Lintas.. it was the same White Skyline I spotted last week + lucky this time I got someone to take the video. Cehhh! Siok woo main bubut-bubut.

p/s : sori got a bit bummpy, bcoz de JKR people love to tampal lubang on the road here + there rather than just make a new one.

I Got Page Rank (Part II)

Waaaa.. surprisingly today the page rank for this blog site was already #1,392,646 from #3,152,574 last week. Uhh! how come so fast one wooo??.. I wonder is it because of the blog engine that I use is WordPress.com was so awesome or is it because of the number of post/visits/links/referer to this site.. I dont know la exactly, but really siok jgk if you really concern about your blog page rank, it will motivated yourself for keep blogging at least one post everyday. I dont have much article on this site at the moment since I got little time on blogging due to lots + lots of dateline to chase (kesian me kan!), but I got plenty of ready articles to post soon..

Skyline Spotted!

What kind of Super Street Car would you like to drive in KK, Im sayin cars like Nissan Skyline, Toyota Supra, Mazda RX7 & RX8, Honda NSX, WRX.. Skyline was the one is my favourite and I really would like to know exactly how many units are they available here.

I just got lucky last Sunday on my way to Likas from Airport I’ve spotted Nissan Sykline in action! not one but two of them..

1st one at the Luyang traffic light towards inanam by-pass.. Black coloured, fresh plate registered, No body kit attached still with fresh standard body and its Sykline GTR34.. it was just on my left while the light is red.

Once the light turns green..vrrooommm, the black skyline start doing his running (Ceh! show off la tu! tambirang btul driver nih), what I’ve manage to snap is just the ‘bontot’.

I try to follow up eventhough I knew it’s impossible with this kind of car compare to mine at least I was just tryin to get a closer snap, wuhh! really kapus-kapus jugak mengejar bah!

Then the 2nd one also at Luyang traffic light but this time towards Lintas..

The bodykit was superb, but no body works are done..pity, and it was indeed a white Sykline GTR34, and its new registered one.

Ceh! ‘sia sia pun’ aku tinguk dorg bawak Skyline ni. So pity la me if I can’t afford to buy one, hmmm.. dapat test drive pun kira oklaba!

I Got Page Rank

Finally… today I got my Alexa page rank displayed for madeinsabah’s blog. Hooreyy!! (well actually nothing much to be proud of) at least there’s something to cheer me up today besides lots of assigment pending stuck in my head.. Not bad la the figure #3,152,574 for having only 4 post + dis one = 5 post with few comments and small number of links.. kesian me a bit la, jus started this blog end of July bah!

Well.. compared to my own portfolio’s site, the page rank was so ‘boleh tahan’ eventhough drop from #434,xxx yesterday to #571,789 today.

Mmm.. tapi dropping so much bah, ndak bulih jadik nik! Mo kasi up lagi.

The Power of advertising..

I went for a house shopping Last weekend on Giant Supermarket in Putatan, formerly known as Bestmart Putatan. Bought lots of ‘makan-makan’ things.. well, the so called Giant Supermarket ‘The Lowest Price Everyday’ is not so lowest price that day tommorow and everyday..

Not like Giant in kehel la, the price here seems like RM0.30 – RM0.70 cents price different to be more expensive compare to other shopping francise in KK. When i came to the chocolate sections (my favs section) I stumble upon into something that I thought was cool for a promo of RM5 chocolate.

It’s Vochelle chocolate.. used 12″ TFT Screen for their chocolate products promo.. Hmmm..jakun tul when i saw this thing (for few seconds), the screen played the advertisement of Vochelle chocolate that we used to watch on tv.. plus the screen comes with sound!

but it seems I cannot find where they put the player console.. hmm, must be bertapuk dalam-dalam.

When talk about the functionality, not so effective, maybe becaused I bought Kitkat instead of this Vochelle itself.. btw great advertising promo though!

Lok Kawi Wildlife Park

Last Sun I went to the Lok Kawi Wildlife Park, its about 25km from the capital city of Sabah, Kota Kinabalu and about 3km from my place.. the park was just freshly launched and run by the Sabah Wildlife Department under the Ministry of Tourism, Culture & Environtment.
